The Architecture of our building is there to recall the very notion of team sport. Collective sport allows diversity and the mixing of cultures and social-professional category through a common element, a passion. This gymnasium represents this via three different blocks which are linked by the heart of the building where the changing rooms and the foyer are located. It was also important to us to create a space where all of the proposed sports can meet, this is materialized by the fireplace which is located at the heart of the project, from where we can observe both the handball field and the basketball court. Sport does not only have one point in common for those who practice the same thing, but it brings together all the athletes around it.

This is also why we wanted to take advantage of the entire plot in order to offer all people working or living nearby a sports course, made up of 8 islands. But Sport is not just that. Sport obliges us to exceed our limits and to make efforts to go further and further in our capacities, and for that it inspires respect. These two key words, respect and effort, that we find in our building via our poles extending beyond the roof and reaching the highest, by lifting the roofs of the gymnasiums via the tie rods. All this while forming a guard of honor from one entrance to the other of the building.
